Team I’m Smiling Next to You is almost at our goal!

I am very excited to report that our Heart Association heart Walk team has reached $600 toward our $1000 team goal.  I am so extremely grateful to all of our very generous donors and supporters.  I have actually been overwhelmed by the level of support we have gotten from so many people, I can’t thank everyone enough for helping out.  My team members are doing a great job of getting the word out.  Just 18 more days until the walk happens on 9-29-2012.  We will start in front of the SC Aquarium at Liberty Square and walk the length of East Bay Street in Charleston, loop around White Point Gardens and back for a total of 3.8 miles.  So, not only is it for such a good cause, it’s also a beautiful place to walk and a lot of fun.  This is a cause that is very dear to my heart and it makes me so happy that we can contribute toward the American Heart Association so they can fund further research and education about all types of heart diseases.  It’s not too late to get in on the fun!  If you can make a donation of as little as $25 or you want to join our team, just follow the link below.  The more the merrier!  I want to thank everyone again for getting involved and supporting us in this cause.  My ultimate hope is that each year our team will get a little bigger and raise a little more money so that other families won’t have to lose someone as special as my sister, Debbie.  We are all honoring her memory with our efforts and I know she is smiling next to us.

We are making Debbie proud!
